Here are the product recalls New Jerseyans should know about this week:

DGL Group Recalls Hover-1 Dynamo E-Scooters Due to Risk of Serious Injury and Crash Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Walmart.com

Hazard: The e-scooter’s brakes can fail, posing a risk of serious injury and crash hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled e-scooters immediately and contact DGL Group for instructions on how to receive a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers will be required to provide photographs of their e-scooter’s serial number and severed motor cable.

Textron Specialized Vehicles Recalls 2024 Arctic Cat Mountain 600 Snowmobiles Due to Crash Hazard

Hazard: The pin on the u-joint of the steering knuckle was not swagged correctly, which can allow the pin to come out of the u-joint and cause the rider to lose steering control, posing a crash hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the 2024 Arctic Cat Mountain 600 Snowmobile, and contact their local authorized Arctic Cat dealer for a free inspection of the steering column u-joint and free repair, if needed. The steering post joint on the Snowmobile will be inspected. If the pin is properly swagged, there is no repair needed. If the steering post joint pin was not properly swagged, the entire steering post assembly will be replaced.

Stiger Recalls Besrey Twins Strollers Due to Entrapment, Fall and Choking Hazards; Violation of Federal Regulation for Strollers; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com

Hazard: The twin stroller violates multiple safety regulations for strollers. The front seat in the forward-facing configuration poses an entrapment hazard to children. In addition, failures with the restraint system and rear seat enclosure pose a fall hazard to children. In products with a black grab bar, the foam padding on the grab bar can pose a choking hazard if the child bites it.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the stroller immediately and contact Stiger for information on how to dispose of the product to obtain a full refund. Stiger and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard: The recalled area rugs violate the mandatory federal flammability regulations for carpets and rugs, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The recalled chairs can shift, break or collapse, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Razor Recalls Icon Electric Scooters Due to Fall Hazard

Hazard: The downtube of the recalled electric scooter can separate from the floorboard during use, posing a fall hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled scooters and contact Razor to receive a refund or coupon. Consumers with proof of purchase for recalled scooters bought on or after March 11, 2023, can receive a full refund. All other consumers can request a $700 coupon for a future purchase on razor.com or a $300 refund. Consumers will be asked to remove the handlebar, and return only the handlebar to Razor. Razor will send consumers a prepaid shipping label and pouch for the return. The scooter’s lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of in accordance with any local and state laws, and not in the trash. The rest of the scooter should be disposed of separately in accordance with any local and state laws.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Golf Grip Solvent and/or Golf Grip Kits, and contact Torquay eTrading for information on how to obtain a free corrected label to put on the bottle. Torquay eTrading, Amazon, eBay and Walmart are contacting all known purchasers directly.

Kawasaki USA Recalls Mule PRO 1000 Off-Highway Utility Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard

Hazard: When starting the engine, improper combustion can occur, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled utility vehicles and contact a Kawasaki dealer to schedule a free repair. A technician will reprogram the ECU and install a sub-harness on the vehicle. Kawasaki is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Toy Guns Recalled Due to Eye Injury Hazard; Failure to Meet Federal Safety Regulations for Projectile Toys; Sold Exclusively on Temu.com by Youjiu

Hazard: The recalled toy guns fail to meet federal safety standards, as they do not have a blaze orange tip that is required by the mandatory toy standard to differentiate toy guns from real guns, and the projectiles pose an eye injury hazard to children because they do not meet the requirements in the mandatory toy standard for projectile toys.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled toy guns immediately and contact Youjiu for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers should remove the magazine and the battery, cut the black and red wires linked to the battery, take a photo of the destroyed toy gun, and send the photo to Youjiu’s store through Temu’s onsite messaging system at the following link: Youjiu store.
