WARREN COUNTY, NJ — Several Warren County high schools have been nominated for the annual FREDDY® Awards, which recognize outstanding achievement in high school musical theater.
Warren Hills Regional received 10 nominations, while Hackettstown High School and Phillipsburg High School each earned 5. Belvidere High School received 2 nominations, and both North Warren Regional High School and Warren County Technical School received 1 nomination each.
The FREDDY® Awards program honors excellence in musical theater productions and performances in local high schools. The three-hour live broadcast features an opening number, performances from nominated shows, appearances by nominated actors and actresses, and the presentation of awards in 23 categories.
Winners will be announced during the live broadcast on Thursday, May 23, at 7:00 p.m. on 69 WFMZ-TV, WFMZ.com, and the WFMZ+ app.
