Loose chicken captured by Washington Township Police, returned to coop
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — One daring chicken found itself in the loving arms of Officer Deemer on Thursday after a brief search by Washington Township police.
Officers were called for a report of loose chickens, police said. After a thorough search of the area, Officer Santamaria and Officer Deemer cornered one of the chickens in a row of bushes.
With Santamaria’s speed and Deemer’s above-average biceps, the officers seized the chicken and returned it safely to its coop.
