Lopatcong police seek public’s help in hit-and-run investigation

LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Lopatcong Township police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run crash Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. Feb. 5, 2026, at the intersection of Baltimore Street and South First Street, according to police.

Investigators said the vehicle involved is believed to be a late-model tan Chevrolet Colorado that may have damage to the rear driver-side area. The driver fled the scene following the crash, police said.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the incident to come forward. Police are also seeking additional dashcam or security camera footage from the area at the time of the crash.
