
Man accused of lewd conduct before entering Hunterdon County home with child alone inside
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A 57-year-old Clinton Township man faces several charges after police said he allegedly engaged in lewd conduct on a resident’s driveway in view of a security camera before entering the home while a juvenile was alone inside.
Clinton Township police responded to a residence Sept. 3 for a report of a visibly intoxicated man who had walked onto the resident’s driveway and was allegedly engaging in lewd conduct in view of a security camera.
Police identified the man as James A. Zangaro Jr., 57, of Clinton Township.
According to police, Zangaro then allegedly entered the residence while the victim’s juvenile child was home alone.
Zangaro was arrested and charged with lewdness, criminal trespass, burglary, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was processed and transported to the Hunterdon County Jail pending a court appearance.
