
Man charged after allegedly damaging T-Mobile door in Morris County
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Budd Lake man was charged with criminal mischief after police said he damaged a glass entrance door at a T-Mobile store in Mount Olive Township.
Police responded at approximately 2:54 p.m. June 9 to T-Mobile, located at 40 International Drive South in the Flanders section of the township, after receiving a report of an irate man.
According to authorities, a 911 caller reported that the man punched and shattered the store’s glass entrance door. Police also received reports that the man had caused a disturbance at Entourage Salon before leaving the area and walking toward Walmart.
Officers located the suspect, identified as Anthony Kupin, 44, of Budd Lake, inside Walmart and took him into custody without incident.
Kupin was transported to police headquarters, where he was charged with criminal mischief. He was released pending a court hearing, police said.
