Man charged after allegedly peering into Morris County apartment window

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Budd Lake man was arrested after allegedly looking into the bedroom window of an apartment at Eagle Rock Village Apartments in Mount Olive Township, police said.

According to police, officers responded to the apartment complex on May 5 at approximately 10:23 a.m. after receiving a report of a man looking into a residence window.

Police said the victim reported seeing a man standing outside her bedroom window looking inside.

Following an investigation, authorities identified the suspect as Dylan Martell, 28, of Budd Lake.

Police said Martell was taken into custody without incident at his residence on May 11 and transported to police headquarters.

Martell was charged with peering into windows or other openings on a dwelling and harassment. He was then lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court hearing.
