Man dead after farm tractor accident in Warren County

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A man is dead following a farm tractor accident in Knowlton Township, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry said.

On Sept. 17, at around 12:12 p.m., New Jersey state police responded to a residence Delaware Road for a report of a tractor accident, Curry said.

When troopers arrived on scene, they observed the a 64-year-old Knowlton Township man laying on a hill next  to the driveway and a John Deere farming tractor that had crashed into a tree in the woods nearby, Curry said.

The man was pronounced dead, Curry said.

The incident remains under investigation, Curry said.
