Man went behind Dunkin’ counter, took food, later charged in Warren County

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, N.J. (Warren County) — A 20-year-old Clinton man, whose identity was not released, was charged with maintaining a nuisance following an incident at a Washington Borough Dunkin’ Donuts, according to police.

Washington Township Police said officers responded to the business at about 5:57 p.m. Dec. 20, 2025, for a reported theft. After investigating, police determined the man had entered a restricted area behind the counter and took food items.

Police said the man was later located and issued a summons charging him with maintaining a nuisance. The summons requires a mandatory court appearance.
