Mars names Myriah Gambrell-Glenn General Counsel for Snacking business

Mars has appointed Myriah Gambrell-Glenn as General Counsel for its Snacking business, effective Dec. 1, 2025, the company announced.

Based in Chicago, Gambrell-Glenn will lead the global legal function for Mars Snacking, home to billion-dollar brands including M&M’S and SNICKERS. She will report to Andrew Clarke, President of Mars Snacking, with a dotted line to Stefanie Straub, Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Mars Incorporated. In her new role, she will oversee legal strategy, compliance, and risk management across a business with more than 34,000 Associates, a presence in over 150 countries, and more than 1,000 snacks sold every second.

Since joining Mars in 2010, Gambrell-Glenn has held senior legal roles across multiple business segments and geographies. Most recently, she served as General Counsel for Mars Pet Nutrition, where she played a pivotal role in the integrations of Champion Petfoods and Pretty Litter, both multibillion-dollar businesses acquired in 2023 and 2021 respectively.

“Myriah’s pedigree speaks for itself. She has built an outstanding track record at Mars, combining deep legal expertise with strategic insight. Just as importantly, she is a dedicated people leader who has a keen ability to spot potential and turn it into performance,” said Andrew Clarke, Mars Snacking Global President. “This combination will be invaluable as we continue to navigate today’s complex legal and regulatory environment while expanding our global snacking footprint.”

In her new role, Gambrell-Glenn will serve as a member of both the Mars Snacking Leadership Team and the Mars Legal Leadership Team.

“I’m stepping into this role at a generational moment for our snacking business,” said Gambrell-Glenn. “It’s clear to me our legal team is uniquely positioned to be a strategic partner by enabling and accelerating our snacking growth agenda— creating the conditions for innovation to flourish at speed and scale while driving strong governance. I’m looking forward to partnering with such a talented team as we take on this opportunity together.”

Mars said the appointment underscores its commitment to strong governance and legal leadership, supporting the continued expansion of its global snacking footprint amid an increasingly complex legal landscape.
