Minor injuries reported after juvenile driving golf cart hits pedestrians in Sussex County

FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Minor injuries were reported Sunday evening when a golf cart operated by a juvenile struck two elderly women in Sussex County, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded at 5:50 p.m. to a residence on Lower North Shore Road in Frankford Township for a report of a medical assist, State Police spokesperson Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.

A preliminary investigation found the golf cart struck two elderly women, Lebron said. No additional information was available.
