Mosquito spraying scheduled in 3 Morris County towns on Aug. 10
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, Morris County officials will conduct mosquito control spraying in several locations Sunday, Aug. 10, weather permitting.
Between 4 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., treatment will be applied via all-terrain vehicle to wooded areas and surrounding properties at the following sites:
- Rockaway: Timberbrook Road (Camp Winnebago) and Montauk Avenue (White Meadow Lake Camp)
- Morristown: Abbett Avenue (George Gramby Park)
- East Hanover Township: Cedar Street (Camp Hope) and Klinger Road
Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, with the active ingredient Sumithrin (EPA Reg. No. 1021-1687-8329), or Zenivex E4, with the active ingredient Etofenprox (EPA Reg. No. 2724-807).
