Mosquito spraying scheduled Monday morning in Roxbury, East Hanover

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — The Morris County Division of Mosquito Control has scheduled mosquito control treatments in portions of Roxbury and East Hanover on Monday, Aug. 10, weather permitting, due to an increase in the adult mosquito population.

Crews will treat wooded areas using an all-terrain vehicle between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The scheduled treatment locations include:

  • Roxbury: Ajax Terrace (Sewer Department)
  • East Hanover: Klinger Road and Cedar Street (Camp Hope)

The county said applicators will use either Anvil 2+2, containing the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, containing the active ingredient etofenprox, depending on operational needs.
