ROCKAWAY, N.J. (Morris County) — County officials announced mosquito spraying will take place in Rockaway on Thursday, Sept. 11, to combat increased adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, treatment will occur between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. at Beach Street, including Fireman’s Field. Crews will use an all-terrain vehicle to apply Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin (EPA#1021-1687-8329), or Zenivex E4, which contains Etofenprox (EPA#2724-807).
