Mosquito spraying scheduled Sept. 11 in Rockaway

ROCKAWAY, N.J. (Morris County) County officials announced mosquito spraying will take place in Rockaway on Thursday, Sept. 11, to combat increased adult mosquito populations.

Weather permitting, treatment will occur between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. at Beach Street, including Fireman’s Field. Crews will use an all-terrain vehicle to apply Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin (EPA#1021-1687-8329), or Zenivex E4, which contains Etofenprox (EPA#2724-807).
