Mosquito spraying set for Sunday morning in 4 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Florham Park Borough, Rockaway, East Hanover Township, and Morris Plains Borough on Sunday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. Sunday, July 6, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Florham Park Borough: Ridgedale Ave (Concert at Gazebo)
- Rockaway: Timberbrook Rd (Camp Winnebago, and Montauk Ave (White Meadow Lake Camp)
- East Hanover Township: Cedar St (Camp Hope)
- Morris Plains Borough: Jim Fear Dr (Community Park Pool)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
