MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Montville Township, Florham Park Borough, and Jefferson Township Wednesday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Montville Township: Horseneck Rd (Community Park and amphitheater)
- Florham Park Borough: Hanover Rd (Automatic Switch)
- Jefferson Township: Weldon Road (Snowbowl area)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807. Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
The commission will also be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Jefferson Township Wednesday night.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 9 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following area is scheduled to be treated:
- Jefferson Township: Weldon Rd (Camp Jefferson)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
