Mosquito treatments scheduled Friday morning in 4 Morris County municipalities
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled early Friday morning in portions of four Morris County municipalities following an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will treat wooded areas by all-terrain vehicle from 4 to 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
Treatments are scheduled at the following locations:
- Rockaway: Beech Street at Fireman’s Field
- Hanover: Reynolds Avenue at Brickyard Field
- East Hanover: Lorie Drive at Patriots Path
- Pequannock: Roland Road and Riverside Drive at Riverside Park
Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
