Mount Olive resident organizes Halloween donation drive for Goryeb Children’s Hospital
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Mount Olive Township resident Danielle Fico Woelki is seeking community support for Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown as part of the second “Annie-versary” of her collection in honor of her mother, Annie.
The hospital is accepting donations for children who will spend Halloween in the hospital.
Accepted items include Halloween stickers, toys, trick-or-treat pumpkin baskets, Halloween pencils, and trinkets. Snacks such as animal crackers, goldfish, and pretzels are also welcome, provided they are individually wrapped and free from allergens. However, the hospital is not accepting items that contain latex or small items that could pose a choking hazard.
Residents are encouraged to bring their donations to the Mount Olive Township Town Hall, located at 204 Flanders-Drakestown Road. Donations can be placed in a blue Halloween-decorated container inside the lobby, accessible through the center doors.
Danielle will collect the donations on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 12:00 p.m. Community members are invited to support this initiative and help bring smiles to children this Halloween.
