Mount Olive Township Mayor’s granddaughter diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, family seeks community support

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Mount Olive Township Mayor Joe Nicastro’s 2 ½-year-old granddaughter, Wrenna, has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. The young girl has been undergoing chemotherapy and various treatments as part of her fight against the illness.

“This has been an incredibly difficult time for my daughter and her husband,” Mayor Nicastro said. “Wrenna has been in the hospital for some time, but she will soon be able to return home to spend time with her brother and sister.”

To help, a GoFundMe page has been created. “Your support means so much to our family and will help with the many expenses they are facing during this challenging journey,” Mayor Nicastro shared.

The GoFundMe page is available for those who wish to help the family during this difficult time. As of Friday morning, the family’s GoFundMe has raised more than $40,000.
