Mountain Creek Resort announces opening date for the 2024-2025 winter season

The New York Metro Area's Premier Ski Resort to Open for Skiing and Snowboarding on December 7

VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon Township, he New York Metro Area’s premier destination for four-season mountain adventure, today announced that it will officially open for the 2024-2025 winter season on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Thanks to a cooperative Mother Nature, this is one of the earliest starts to the winter season in years for the resort, which has also invested significantly in upgrading its snowmaking capabilities with a new, state-of-the-art, $5 million fully automated system. Lifts will begin running at 9:00 AM with the last chair at 9:00 p.m.

This Saturday, December 7, the resort will be open with top-to-bottom terrain at both Vernon and South Peaks serviced by the Cabriolet Gondola and the South Peak Express Quad. All skier services will be open including rentals, lessons and restaurants. Guests looking to save on Lift Tickets this season can purchase a Triple Play Card valid for 3 anytime use ticket for $139.99 or Season Pass starting at $339.99.
