NJ player wins $2 million prize in Powerball drawing; jackpot rises to $875 million

A New Jersey lottery player won a $2 million prize in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, the only Match 5 + Power Play winner nationwide, according to the results of the Dec. 6 drawing.

No ticket matched all six numbers — 13, 14, 26, 28, 44 and Powerball 7 — meaning the jackpot increases to an estimated $875 million for the next drawing on Monday, Dec. 8. The cash value is estimated at $403.6 million. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.

Three additional players in Florida, Georgia and Texas won $1 million Match 5 prizes.
