NJMVC facilities to close June 19 for Juneteenth

TRENTON, N.J. — All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission facilities will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

The closure includes agencies, road test sites and inspection stations.

NJMVC facilities will be open for normal business hours the rest of the week, and the commission’s website will remain available 24 hours a day.

Officials said customers should visit NJMVC.gov first to access more than 25 online services, schedule appointments for in-person services and find answers to common questions.

Most motor vehicle services in New Jersey can be completed online. Nearly all in-person services, including permits, driver testing, document renewals, REAL IDs, new titles and registrations, require an appointment scheduled through the NJMVC website.
