Nominations open for 2027 Hackettstown St. Patrick’s Day Parade grand marshal
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — The Hackettstown Business Improvement District is accepting nominations for the grand marshal of the 2027 Hackettstown St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The BID announced the nomination period as part of its “Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day” celebration. Nominations will be accepted through Oct. 19.
According to the BID, nominees must live or work in Hackettstown or have a history or roots in the community. Nominees should also have a history of contributing to Hackettstown through volunteerism, local organizations or other community involvement and be proud of their Irish heritage.
The selected grand marshal will make an official announcement appearance during Hackettstown’s Hometown Holiday Parade on Dec. 4.
A Grand Marshal Reception is scheduled for March 4, 2027, before the honoree leads the Hackettstown St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 7.
The BID said nominations can include longtime volunteers, local business owners, community leaders or others who have made a difference in Hackettstown.
