Off-peak daytime lane closures scheduled for Easton-Phillipsburg (Route 22) toll bridge’s NJ approach, Feb. 18-21

The Route 22 westbound approach to the Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge is scheduled to be reduced to a single travel lane (one of two lanes closed) 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, to Friday, Feb. 21, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The off-peak travel restrictions will allow a Commission contractor to replace signs in the vicinity of the bridge’s toll plaza, the commission said.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution whenever traveling through active work areas, the commission said.

The lane closures are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors, the commission said.
