Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Morris County
CHESTER BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk Saturday afternoon in Chester Borough, according to Chester Police Lieutenant Brian Gill.

According to Gill, 31-year-old James Sommer of Lebanon was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry southbound on County Route 513 when his vehicle struck an adult female pedestrian who was walking her dog in a marked crosswalk at the intersection with Crystal Lake Drive.
The woman, whose identity was not released, suffered serious bodily injury and was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, Gill said.
