Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Roxbury Township

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A pedestrian was seriously injured Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle outside a shopping center in Roxbury Township, authorities said.

Police were dispatched at approximately 10:42 a.m. to the area in front of the UPS Store at the Roxbury Mall for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a 77-year-old woman from Wharton had been struck by a 2025 Honda Pilot operated by a 50-year-old Roxbury Township woman.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was flown to a nearby hospital, according to police.

The incident remains under active investigation.
