Phillipsburg police put Valentine’s twist on warrant enforcement

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — The Phillipsburg Police Department is turning to Valentine’s Day humor to encourage residents to report individuals with outstanding warrants.

In a social media post shared ahead of the holiday, the department wrote:

“Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!

Know someone with an outstanding warrant? We have just the thing.

Skip the chocolates and flowers – give us a call at 908-835-2002 and send us their location instead.

Our officers will gladly hand-deliver a very special Valentine…complete with a complimentary ride to the Warren County Jail.”

The department’s message serves as a reminder that individuals with active warrants remain subject to arrest and that residents can contact police with information regarding their whereabouts.
