Phillipsburg police seek public’s help in locating missing teen with special needs

UPDATE: According to police, Emily was “located safe and sound.”

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Emily O. Tucker-Cox, who was reported missing late Tuesday night, July 22.

According to the Phillipsburg Police Department, Emily left her home on Summit Avenue on foot around 11 p.m. She was last seen wearing black shorts, a pink shirt, and silver Puma sandals. Officials noted that Emily has special needs.

She is known to frequent the area of Shafer Avenue and Washington Avenue.

Anyone who may have seen Emily or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Phillipsburg Police Department at (908) 835-2002.
