Philly Pretzel Factory to close Hackettstown location, reopen in Roxbury in 2027

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — After more than 13 years in Hackettstown, Philly Pretzel Factory will close its location at 150 Mountain Ave. on Sunday, Nov. 1, as the business prepares to relocate to Roxbury Township.

In a Facebook post, Philly Pretzel Factory Hackettstown announced the upcoming closure and thanked customers for their support over the past 13½ years.

“This is incredibly difficult for us to say. For more than 13 years, you have welcomed us into your community, shared countless pretzels with us, celebrated birthdays and special occasions with us, stopped in for your favorite snacks, and most importantly, supported our small business,” the business said.

“You have truly become more than customers — you’ve become part of our family.”

As a way of thanking the community, the business announced it will hold a Free Pretzel Day on Sunday, Nov. 1, its final day of operation in Hackettstown.

Customers are invited to stop by the Mountain Avenue location to receive a free pretzel and celebrate the business’s 13½ years in town.

“Come see us on our final day and enjoy a FREE pretzel as our thank-you to the Hackettstown community. We want to see as many of our amazing customers as possible so we can celebrate these 13½ years together!” the business said.

Although the Hackettstown location is closing, Philly Pretzel Factory announced plans to relocate to the Roxbury Mall at 275 Route 10 East in Succasunna.

The business is targeting January 2027 for its reopening at the new location.

“We can’t wait to bring you the same great Philly-style pretzels you love to our new location!” the business said.

The Hackettstown location will remain open until its final day on Nov. 1, when customers can stop by for a complimentary pretzel before the business transitions to its new location in Roxbury.
