Police ask public for help after rock smashes windshield, injures driver in Sussex County
HARDYSTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — Hardyston police are asking for the public’s help after a rock was thrown through the windshield of a passing vehicle on County Route 517, injuring the driver.
Police said officers responded around 6 p.m. Jan. 14 to a report that a rock struck a vehicle traveling on Route 517. The rock broke the windshield and hit the driver, causing injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact the Hardyston Township Police Detective Bureau at 973-823-7022, police said.
