DENVILLE TONWSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Denville firefighters added a lighter call to their duty roster Tuesday when they were dispatched downtown to rescue a cat stranded in a tree.
Firefighters responded after receiving a report of a cat stuck high above the ground. The cat, named Timmy, was safely brought down by members of the Denville Fire Department and returned unharmed to his owners, officials said.
No injuries were reported, and the rescue ended with a happy reunion between Timmy and his humans.
