ShopRite to host job fair on Aug. 23

NEW JERSEY – ShopRite will host hiring fairs on Saturday, August 23, for candidates seeking career opportunities and valuable experience in retail.

The walk-up job fairs, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at store locations throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland.

Full-time, part-time and management positions are available, depending on location. A hiring representative will be on-site to speak with candidates.

Open positions include general, perishable, front-end and stocking clerks. The company says the roles offer flexible hours and cross-training opportunities, along with a game-based training app designed to help associates succeed in the retail environment.

Family-owned stores in the cooperative also provide career growth opportunities and engage in community initiatives, including hunger-fighting and sustainability events. Associates can receive entertainment and tuition discounts, as well as access to scholarship opportunities.
