ShopRite to host job fair on Oct. 18

NEW JERSEY – ShopRite supermarkets are inviting job seekers to explore career opportunities during a series of walk-in hiring fairs on Saturday, Oct. 18, the company announced.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., participating ShopRite locations across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts and Rhode Island will host in-store recruitment events for full-time, part-time and management positions. No advance registration is required. Candidates can stop by to speak with hiring teams and learn more about available roles.

Open positions include general clerks, front-end associates, stocking staff and perishable department team members, among others. ShopRite said the roles offer competitive benefits, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement, including on-the-job training and access to a game-based learning platform to help associates build skills.

Employees may also be eligible for tuition and entertainment discounts, scholarship programs and participation in community initiatives, such as hunger relief and sustainability efforts, according to the company.

ShopRite is part of Wakefern Food Corp., the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States.
