SOMERSET COUNTY, N.J. — The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking the public’s help locating a 35-year-old man wanted for failing to appear in recovery court on drug charges and who also has outstanding warrants in Union County.
The Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit named Patsy Ragonese its “Fugitive of the Month” for August.
Authorities said Ragonese is wanted for failure to appear in recovery court in connection with three counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.
The underlying charges stem from incidents in Pequanock in Morris County in December 2020, Bernards Township in Somerset County in June 2021, Warren Township in Somerset County in January 2022 and Lacey Township in Ocean County in January 2023, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.
Ragonese also has two bench warrants from Union County involving fourth-degree identity theft in Springfield and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in Plainfield, authorities said.
Ragonese’s last known address was in Basking Ridge. Authorities describe him as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and about 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The Prosecutor’s Office is asking anyone with information about Ragonese’s whereabouts to contact its Fugitive Unit at 908-231-7100. Authorities said members of the public should not attempt to take police action themselves.
