Somerset County fugitive of the month

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ – Jaime Cruz-Camarillo is Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office fugitive of the month for July.

Cruz-Camarillo, 40, is wanted for failure to appear in court on four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The charges stem from incidents in May 2025 in Hillsborough Township, where he is accused of abuse or neglect as a caretaker.

He is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Manville Borough.

Anyone with information on Cruz-Camarillo’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit at 908-231-7100. Authorities caution against taking any police action independently.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the STOPit app, which allows users to send reports, including photos and videos. The app is available for free in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store using the access code SOMERSETNJ.
