Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office name January fugitive of the month

SOMERVILLE, N.J. (Somerset County) — The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office has identified a Piscataway man as its Fugitive of the Month for January 2026 and is asking the public for help locating him.

Prosecutors said Matthew McCullough, 35, is wanted on a warrant for an alleged violation of probation stemming from multiple criminal cases in Somerville Borough. Authorities said McCullough is wanted on two counts of second-degree endangering the abuse or neglect of a child and one count of fourth-degree criminal trespass.

His last known address was listed as Piscataway in Middlesex County.

McCullough is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. No tattoos were listed.

The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit urged anyone with information about McCullough’s whereabouts to contact authorities and not to attempt to take any action themselves.
