Space Farms Zoo launches “Name the Bear” contest for three cubs

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — Space Farms Zoo & Museum is inviting the public to help name three new bear cubs through a social media contest.

The zoo announced the “Name the Bear” contest on its Facebook page, asking participants to submit name ideas for the three male cubs — two born in early January and one born in late March.

Contest entries are limited to one name per comment and will be accepted from April 23 through May 14. A winner will be selected May 15.

The winning entry will receive a one-day admission pass for one adult and one child.

The cubs are currently viewable to visitors through a window on the front porch of the zoo’s main building.
