Stephens State Park day-use area to close April 24 for paving

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — The day-use area at Stephens State Park in Hackettstown will be closed Friday, April 24, for paving along the park’s one-way entrance road, officials said.

The temporary closure will affect visitors using the day-use section of the park for the duration of the work.

Campers arriving during the closure are being instructed to park at their assigned campsites and contact the park office at 908-852-3790 to complete check-in procedures.

Park officials apologized for the inconvenience and said the work is necessary to improve access to the facility.
