
Sussex County man arrested for possession of child pornography
FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County man has been arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography, according to police.
On the morning of March 25, Devin L. Ramos-Artigas, 30, of Franklin Borough, was arrested following an investigation conducted by the Franklin Borough Police Department in collaboration with the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, police said.
The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant at Ramos-Artigas’ residence. He had been identified as a person of interest in a federal tipline referral involving the possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), police said.
The investigation allegedly confirmed that Ramos-Artigas possessed digital media on multiple devices containing images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of minors, police said.
Ramos-Artigas was charged with second-degree possession of child pornography. He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending his court appearance, in accordance with the New Jersey Bail Reform Act, police said.
