HAMBURG BOROUGH, N.J. (Sussex County) — The Sussex County Department of Health and Human Services, along with the Division of Senior Services, Municipal Alliance, and the Veterans Committee, will host the 12th Annual Veterans Picnic on Saturday, Aug. 16.
The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. at the Hamburg Fire Department Pavilion, located on State Route 23 South. Local veterans and their families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of community, food, and resources.
The picnic will feature live music, giveaways, a homemade barbecue, and informational tables with representatives from various veterans’ service organizations. Food will be served from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
“Share an afternoon with your fellow veterans with fine food and camaraderie,” the Veterans Committee said in a statement.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration opens July 1, and all RSVPs must be received by Aug. 11.
