BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — An SUV caught fire following a rear-end crash on Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County Sunday evening, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash at about 7:09 p.m. on I-78 west at milepost 10.8 in Bethlehem Township, according to State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
A preliminary investigation found that a rear-end collision occurred between a Nissan SUV and a Jeep SUV, Lebron said.
As a result of the impact, the Nissan became engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
