SUV strikes marked state police vehicle, car on I-80 in Morris County
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A crash involving a marked New Jersey State Police vehicle and two other vehicles left people with non-life-threatening injuries Monday night on Interstate 80 in Mount Olive Township, according to state police.
Troopers responded at about 7:55 p.m. to the crash on I-80 west near milepost 23.8.
A preliminary investigation found that a Nissan SUV was traveling west when the driver lost directional control and struck the rear of a marked Ford SUV troop car and the side of an Infiniti passenger car, according to state police.
Non-life-threatening injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
