UPDATE: Missing 18-year-old from Morris County found safe
UPDATE: William Young has been found safe, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.
Young was located, unharmed, the morning of Sept. 13.
Prosecutor Carroll thanked the public for helping get the word out about the missing teenager. Prosecutor Carroll also thanks the efforts of the Parsippany Police Department, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, and the New Jersey State Police Aviation Bureau for their assistance on this investigation.
PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Morris County teen, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.
William Young, 18, of Parsippany-Troy Hills was last seen on Sept. 11, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., leaving his home in Lake Parsippany.
William is described as a white male, 6 feet 7 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black windbreaker, black pants, gray shirt, black shoes and wearing black glasses.
The Parsippany Police Department with the assistance of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, has been diligently working on this active missing person investigation, with the assistance of outside agencies, including the New Jersey State Police Aviation Bureau and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office.
