UPDATE: Tractor-trailer hauling produce hits parked construction vehicle on I-80 in Warren County; no injuries
ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A tractor-trailer, hauling produce, collided with an unoccupied construction vehicle early Tuesday on Interstate 80 in Warren County, closing all eastbound lanes for a time, State Police said.
Troopers responded to the crash at 4:04 a.m. at milepost 22 on I-80 East, according to State Police spokesperson Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. A preliminary investigation found that a Volvo tractor-trailer struck a parked construction vehicle on the right shoulder. After the impact, the truck veered off to the left and hit a guardrail.
No injuries were reported, Lebron said.
