Vehicle catches fire in the woods of Sussex County

SANDYSTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A vehicle caught fire Saturday night in the woods of Sussex County.

The fire was reported on Dec. 16, at 10:41 p.m., approximately one mile deep in the woods in Sandyston Township.

The Franklin Township Fire Department and the Montague Volunteer Fire Department responded to assist the Sandyston Township Fire Department in extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear, and it was unclear if there were any injuries.
