Vehicle overturns on I-80 in Morris County; one passenger injured

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A vehicle overturned Thursday night on Interstate 80 in Morris County, leaving one passenger with minor injuries, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash on the westbound side of I-80 at milepost 32, State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.

Based on a preliminary investigation, a Toyota passenger vehicle was traveling west when the driver lost control, struck a concrete barrier on the right side of the roadway and overturned, Postorino said.

A back seat passenger sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available.
