Warren County business honored for accessibility efforts supporting children with disabilities
BROADWAY, N.J. (Warren County) — Paper Strategies Incorporated (PSI), a commercial printing company in Broadway, has been awarded the 2025 Thomas M. Kennedy “Excellence in Accessibility” Award for its efforts to support children with disabilities by transforming part of its facility into an adaptive gym space.
Warren County Commissioner Lori Ciesla joined Division of Aging & Disability Services Executive Director Steve Unger and Advisory Council on Disabilities member Kelly Milazzo to present the award to PSI President Dave Leary. Officials said the honor recognizes PSI’s commitment to improving the quality of life for residents with disabilities.
While PSI is best known for its full-color digital and offset printing, packaging and promotional production, the company has also partnered with community organizations — including the Special Olympics Youth Athletes program — to create a safe and fun indoor gym for children with disabilities.
The annual award is named in memory of Thomas M. Kennedy, a longtime advocate for accessibility and a former member of the county Department of Human Services’ Advisory Council on Disabilities. Established after Kennedy’s death in 2008, the award honors individuals, businesses, organizations and service groups that are accessible, user-friendly and demonstrate exceptional efforts to promote inclusion.
