Warren County Christmas tree farm with nearly 200 years of history hits the market

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A 135-acre preserved Christmas tree farm in Warren County that has been held by the same family for 80 years has been listed for sale for $1.485 million.

Sunset Christmas Tree Farm, located at 21 Frontage Road in Blairstown Township, is listed by Amylinn Nemeth and brokered by Realty One Group Next Door.

According to the listing, the property has been owned by the same family since 1946 and includes an established Christmas tree farm, approximately 21 acres of crop farmland and a hunting lease. The property also features miniature heifers, beehives, fruit trees and berry bushes.

The farm includes a renovated farmhouse with original chestnut and pine floors, a stone fireplace, updated kitchen and two primary suite options. A first-floor suite has a private entrance and can also be used as guest or office space.

The property also includes a guest cottage with a kitchen and bathroom, a horse barn, tack room, tractor garage, fenced fields, pastures and woodlands.

According to the listing, the farm was once home to thoroughbred racehorse Fat Andy. An 1839 swing-beam barn on the property was also featured on the television series “Barnwood Builders.”

The property is about 60 miles from New York City and minutes from Interstate 80.
