Warren County man faces DWI, drug charges after being stopped in middle of road

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Hackettstown man is facing multiple charges, including DWI and drug possession, after his vehicle was found stopped in the middle of the road in Mansfield Township.

On February 12, officers observed a motor vehicle stopped in the middle of two lanes on Valley Road. The driver was identified as Zachary C. Vonsternberg, 41, of Hackettstown, police said.

Following an investigation, Vonsternberg was arrested and charged with careless driving, driving while intoxicated (DWI), drug possession by a motor vehicle operator, failure to possess a driver’s license, possession of controlled dangerous substances CDS (Schedule I & II), and possession of paraphernalia, police said.

Vonsternberg was then lodged at the Warren County Correctional Facility, police said.
