Washington Township Fire Department breaks ground on Washburn Avenue station addition

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — After years of planning, the Washington Township Fire Department has broken ground on a major addition to its Washburn Avenue Fire Station, officials announced.

The expansion will feature two truck bays large enough to house modern fire engines, along with space for training equipment to support firefighter readiness and safety.

The department expressed its gratitude to Tim Terry Landscaping for its significant assistance in getting the project underway.

“Without Tim’s help, this would not have been possible,” the department said in its announcement.

Residents and supporters interested in contributing to the project can donate to the department’s building fund through its PayPal QR link.
